Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a one-on one treatment that helps people work through personal challenges. It is also known as individual counselling or psychotherapy. A client works with a trained therapist in a safe and confidential environment. Therapist involving the client set therapeutic goals, tailor the process to the client’s unique needs.
Client is helped to explore their feelings, behaviours, emotions and beliefs. Therapist helps the client identify and manage their symptoms, strength, triggers and develop strategies to overcome challenges. Individual therapy sessions can help with depression, substance abuse, anger management, parenting challenges, school difficulties, career changes/guidance and many others.
How its delivered; Individual therapy sessions can take place in person, over the phone or online. The length of the sessions vary, typically the session last for 45 to 60 minutes.


Group Therapy
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. Group therapy can be used alone or integrated into comprehensive treatment plan that alone includes individual therapy. It can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions including; phobias, substance use disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Eating disorders, Depression, Bereavement/Grief and many other challenges.
